I've always wanted to do one of these! ^.^
Twilight is the uber-popular vampire series by Stephenie Meyer. Teens all over America (and beyond!) have fallen in love with the witty cast, the clumsy but determined Bella Swan, the handsome but troubled Edward Cullen, and the funny and brave Jacob Black.
YEAH.RIGHT.
Let me redefine that for you.
Twilight is the uber-popular vampire series by Stephenie Meyer. Teens all over America have become obsessed with the characters of the story including the clumsy Mary Sue Bella Swan, the Gary Stu "as cold as the kitchen counter" Edward Cullen, and the dog Jacob Black.
Don't know what Mary Sue's and Gary Stu's are? Google it. Wikipedia is your friend.
The Twilight Plot is overused and horrid. Edward rescues Bella. Wow didn't expect that one. Bella has no character and must be around Edward in order to survive. Edward is the perfect smexy boy that every girl wants a piece of. Girls get obsessed to the series because it shows them a story where the happily ever after comes true. You must realize that she completely screwed up the image of vampires. True vampires don't fall in love with humans, they suck their blood. Or that's what I've heard anyway.
So please, before ou rant on how amazing Twilight is and how Edward and Bella are soul mates, go pick up a book that isn't made of 100% disgusting fluff and no plot.
Thank you

Projectooo
Ha so... as I previously stated, I need something to write about in this blog. Some sort of project to keep me occupied. And my decision is... -drumroll-
nothing.
I'll probably postpone this thing until after I finish my horrid History Project anyway. I do like Robert E Lee a bit... but a project? Bleh!
I'm glad its Friday, and I can't believe it isn't 12 at night yet. I just finished the book I made a review on. I'm such a sap, it made me emotional and encouraged me at the same time.
So yeah... I might make some Fullmetal Alchemist related posts later.

Backk!!! and Review for Gamer Girl <3
I thought I gave up on this blog. Honestly. But after some heavy persuasion and a super good book, I deduced that I will keep up with it! Though people may not be reading, its good to post when you don't have anybody else to talk to.
So I'm going to start with a book review. YAYYY! I fell in love with the book the second I heard about it. And when I got it from the bookfair, I realized that I was right all along.
The book is Gamer Girl by Mari Mancusi.
The plot is the following:
Maddy's life is not so rockin'. Her parents split, she's stuck in a new, small town at a school full of Aberzombies and Haters, she has a crush on someone she really shouldn't like, and she's stuck with the nickname Freak Girl. Sometimes its enough to retreat into her drawing-her manga is totally important to her-but when she gets Fields of Fantasy for her birthday, she knows she's found the one place where she can be herself. In the game word, Maddy can transform from a regular outcast high school student to Allora, a beautiful Elfin princess. In rl though, Maddy has to kick back at the Haters, rock her manga, and find the real-life friends she deserves
^ Long isn't it?
It's a fantastic book, but the reason that I liked it is because I could really relate to with the main character. That was the reason I bought the book... it seemed like my life story with a bit of fantasy and romance added.
But enough of this rambling. It's a great story, if you're looking for a real story that still has corny fantasy.
Byeee!
